Case Study - Scottish Executive

NSG Security Consultants were commissioned to undertake a strategic and operational review of reception, security, portering and messaging functions undertaken throughout the buildings occupied by the Executive across Edinburgh and Glasgow – including assessment of service requirements, identification of resource requirements, team profiling, identifying what would be required to establish an in-house multi-skilled workforce, identifying working patterns (shift rosters and individual building routines) to comply with Working Time Directives & reduce overtime costs, and working closely with reception and security staff& management in order to ensure adherence to the Executive’s business objectives and to ensure acceptance for the proposed changes in working practices.

As a result of the work undertaken by NSG Security Consultants there has been wide scale re-profiling of services resulting in improvements to service delivery and a reduction in service costs in the region of 25%.
